Travertine Pavers are definitely the most popular pavers in the area when your budget allows you to go beyond the traditional “cool deck” that has been going into most of the pools projects in Arizona since 1966. Travertine is really only about $1.50 more a sq ft but well worth it.   

Concrete Pavers are a bit more affordable than travertine, they will get a little hotter during the summer but you’re not going barefoot on anything at high noon in the hot season. Some of the styles and colors are great choices and some are even a little more formal.

Synthetic Grass is a great way to green up an area of your property to make it nice for bare feet. Like almost any surface it will get pretty hot on a summer afternoon. It’s a good choice when you just do not want anymore yard with gravel.

You can use metal fencing to make your pool area safe from small kids or pets. A metal fence can be built to meet your pool barrier code requirements with self closing, self latching gates and other requirements. The fences can be painted about any color.
