STATE OF THE POOL INDUSTRY UPDATE:
With so much work still going on and continuing Supply Chain Issues we still have a Material and Labor Shortage in progress however we are beginning to see some improvement. Instead of 3-5 days between crews or subcontractors it became weeks and and months with varying differences among the trades.
The new subdivisions are still exploding here in the S.E. Valley and a vast amount of those new homeowners also want new pools. So all that being said we're still not back to the "good ole days" when we could somewhat promise you we're done in 6-8 weeks and we will not be building again until we can again get projects done within that timeframe. That works better for you and us.
For now we are still focused solely on our Real Estate Business.

(highly recommended here in AZ) if you are thinking about doing the Pool Yourself as an Owner Builder. We can even have it Delivered to Your Home (in Person Signature Delivery - preferably set in your garage).

Please be aware, in building your own pool you will not necessarily save 10's of thousands, you will absolutely not save 50%. There's not 50% in a pool when a contractor builds it.
You may save some dollars by paying cash to your subs but others make take from you what they would have discounted the builder that feeds them regularly.
You only want to attempt this with full confidence (based on some prior life experiences) and after lots of planning in advance. You will not want to begin the project until you have some kind of commitment from each subcontractor that you will need. After you have one contractor they can usually refer others but you have to vet them. You don't need some unlicensed criminal referring another unlicensed criminal.

So Here’s How it Works
WE MEET UP
You tell me about all of your Swimming Pool or Project Plans. I answer all of your questions. I can help you with any ideas you may need. We go over all of your options and the potential costs involved. I get all of the measurements needed to do a construction plan, take a lot pictures of all of the critical items on your property. We set our follow up appointment to go over the plan and pricing that I will bring back.
I RETURN WITH A PLAN
I bring back a completed plan with the calculated cost, all according to what we’ve gone over in the initial meeting. You’ll see if you like it all, I explain all of the costs line by line. If you need anything adjusted, or if in the mean time you’ve come up with any other ways that you want to do the pool, we can make those adjustments. If you come up with changes while I’m gone just update me so I can bring the plan back the way you want it.
CONSTRUCTION BEGINS
Once we have a plan and price that you are happy with we can do a contract and down payment and get you moved into construction.
We dig the pool, next is plumbing, then rebar and electrical.
Then we have a pre-gunite inspection and then we shoot the concrete shell. After that we do tile, coping and decking.
Then we have a pre-plaster inspection and then we pebble to interior of the pool shell.

You will have to text before calling. The robo calls are so relentless we don’t answer unknown numbers anymore but will return a text or message pretty quickly.
POOL LAYOUT
Ed will be the person that meets with you and works with you to get a design and plan together. He will also be the one that paints the pool out on the ground to be sure you like everything and so the pool diggers know what to dig. When everything is done by Ed with no salesperson in between nothing gets lost in the translation and the pool will be done exactly as we planned.
ED MEETS EACH CREW
Ed meets each crew when they show up to do their phase to make sure they are all on the same sheet. They go over all the fine details and if it’s a critical phase he checks back with them again during the day and sometimes again before they are done. This is why we only work local here in the S.E. Valley. We’re on the job too much to be all over both counties.
WE ARE ALWAYS THERE FOR YOU
Ed can always answer any of your questions when he is out there with the crews. You will have his number and can call or text him just about anytime day or night. Late night communications might have a delayed response but we really are there for you more than anyone else would normally be.

Most companies hire many different people to do all this construction over-site and to handle all of these loose ends. We have found that only working local and taking care of these things personally works the best for us.

This classification allows the licensee to construct and repair of appurtenances to residential structures. Work related to electrical, plumbing, air conditioning systems, boilers, and water wells must be subcontracted to an appropriately licensed contractor. This scope includes the CR-21, B-5, and all B-4R sub-classifications.
